Kate opened up about her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and how the helpline is an "impressive" way to aid parents who are seeking advice and a helping hand. Speaking about their visit which was caught on video, she said: "What we've taken away I suppose is just how normal it is. We're parents ourselves I'm sure we'll face worries, we do face worries because we have small, young children.

"You know, if those worries escalate having that feeling that someone is there who is non-judgemental, who can provide a helping hand at a really difficult time, is really impressive."

Prince William also voiced how impressed he was by the helpline, saying: "You've got these very caring lovely people on the end of the phone who listen then provide extremely good advice.

"It's totally fine to talk about it, to seek help and to speak out, because we're not all superheroes and there's a lot of pressure on parents and most of it is self-made from parents themselves. You feel you have to be able to handle everything, you have to show strength and resilience to everything, but sometimes it all gets too much and you need to reach out and that's fine."

The couple were all smiles as they were given a tour of the charity, with Kate looking summery in a scarlet skater-style dress while Prince William wore a smart casual white shirt with a navy jacket.

Speaking about the official visit following their trip, the Duchess said in a statement: "As a parent, and as a mother, having that feeling that there is somebody there that is non-judgmental, that can provide the professional support, can really provide a helping hand at a really difficult time."

The couple have previously revealed that they "wouldn't hesitate" getting their two children help with their mental health if necessary, with Kate saying: "One thing that has stood out to me time and again is that getting early support for a child who is struggling to cope is the best possible thing we can do to help our children as they grow up."

"Knowing this, both William and I feel very strongly that we wouldn't hesitate to get expert support for George and Charlotte if they need it."
