Autumn is here, and one young royal couldn't be more excited! Princess Madeleine of Sweden marked the arrival of the new season by sharing a photo of her adorable daughter Princess Leonore playing in the leaves in a London park.

"The fall is here!" Madeleine captioned the photo, which showed the two-year-old picking up the leaves in her hands and smiling for the camera.

Princess Leonore looked as cute as ever in the photo, and was dressed up to beat the chill in a pale pink padded coat and grey skirt with knitted tights.

Madeleine recently revealed that she and her husband Chris O'Neill try to keep their daughter entertained with lots of outings and activities, and it looks like a family trip to the park was a hit with the youngster.

Speaking to People at the World Childhood Foundation USA Thank You Gala, the Swedish royal admitted: "We try to do a lot of activities because my little Leonore, she has lots of energy, so we have to keep her stimulated and busy."

The 34-year-old also said that she would "love" to arrange a playdate between her children Leonore and Prince Nicolas, one, and the British royals, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

"I would love [a playdate]," Princess Madeleine said. "I'm sure we will cross paths – and who knows what we will do when we do!"

The family are currently living in London

Madeleine relocated to London with her family in 2015, and appears to be enjoying her time in the UK. She still makes a concerted effort to maintain her bond with her siblings Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip, and also to ensure her children are able to spend time with their cousins, who are similar ages.

"The little cousins, Leonore and Estelle, they're very close – they're more like sisters," Madeleine shared. "Victoria and I try very hard to make it so they really can see each other and play and have fun. Cousins are great – they are your friends, but they're family. They can support each other."
