Princess Charlene of Monaco was on mummy duty at her sporty engagement over the weekend. The former Olympic swimmer stepped out with her husband Prince Albert, and their little girl Princess Gabriella, for the Sainte Devote Rugby Tournament in Monte-Carlo on 18 March.

The event, which was organised by Charlene's foundation in partnership with the Monaco Rugby Federation, saw 15 international teams battle it out, with Charlene's native South Africa taking home the trophy.

Gabriella, who has a twin brother Prince Jacques, was the picture of cuteness as she cuddled up to her mum, looking very sweet with a bow in her hair.

Later that day, the mum-of-two flew to Austria to attend the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Schladming. As Global Ambassador for the tournament, Charlene had the honour of leading out both the Monaco and South Africa Special Olympics Teams at the opening ceremony.

"I am so proud to be here at the Special Olympics to support Team Monaco," said the princess, whose team is made up of 22 athletes competing in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. "The atmosphere at the opening ceremony was electric - the place was buzzing with excitement."

She added: "I have always been passionate about the Special Olympics. I trained alongside some of these athletes back in South Africa - they have always been such an inspiration to me, their courage is remarkable."

The Prince helped give out food to service users and volunteers at the Leicestershire Aids Support Service (LASS) canteen. LASS provides information, advice, support and advocacy services for people who are living with or affected by HIV and also raises HIV awareness through training and workshops.

The king and queen of Bhutan have released a new photo of their gorgeous little boy Prince Jigme, for their April online calendar. The photo showed the young royal, who turned one in February, playing in the snow in Thimpu city in Bhutan, with his dad King Jigme and His Majesty the Fourth King, Jigme Singye Wangchuck.

The royals stood in the grounds of the Lingkana Palace, where Prince William and Kate were guests last year, while the Tashichhodzong, a 17th century fortress which houses several government offices, as well as the Golden Throne Room, and His Majesty's Office, and the summer quarters of the Central Monk Body of Bhutan, can be seen in the background.
