Princess Diana was a true style icon, remembered as one of the best-dressed women in history. She was known for her fashion-forward outfits and on-trend looks, from her black, off-the-shoulder Christina Stambolian number dubbed the 'revenge dress' to her pale blue, sequined mini dress she wore in 1997, in what was one of her last high-profile appearances.
But perhaps some of her most memorable – and endearing – looks were when she coordinated with her young sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. Last year, the brothers opened up about their mum in a documentary to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her death.
Harry poked fun at his mother's decision to dress them in "bizarre" outfits, saying: "I genuinely think she got satisfaction out of dressing myself and William up in the most bizarre outfits – normally matching. It was weird shorts and little shiny shoes with the old clip-on. Looking back at the photos it just makes me laugh and I think, 'How could you do that to us?'

And I'm sort of thinking, 'Hang on a second, if you're going to dress differently, I'm not going to be the only person dressed like this. This is ridiculous!'"
