They say there's no bond like that between a dog and its owner, so Khane Williams from Lubbock, Texas was left devastated when his pet puppy Kase went missing in December. After weeks of searching the youngster's mum Paula Williams discovered that the dog had been taken in by a family down the street who had been keeping him warm and fed, and made moves to reunite him with her son.

A heart-warming video filmed by Paula captured the sweet moment Khane was reunited with his beloved pet, and was shared on the city's Lost and Found Pets Facebook page, where it has since received over 3.5 million views.

In the clip Paula can be heard telling her son that she has a surprise for him. The youngster pulls on his coat and approaches the car, where he discovers his pet dog.
"Kase?" Khane questions repeatedly before bursting into tears and giving the dog a big hug. The pet appears equally happy to be reunited with his owner and licks his face affectionately while Khane says: "I missed you."
Sharing the footage on Facebook, Paula wrote: "Just wanted to share some good news! My sons puppy went missing about a month ago and we just found him. This is the video of my son reuniting with his baby Kase!"

She added: "He was found right down the street from our house. A nice family had taken him in and kept him warm and fed!"
The sweet video has been shared almost 60,000 times since Paula posted it online on Friday, with 7,500 comments from Facebook users who were touched by the emotional reunion.
"I'm bawling, what a sweet video. I am so happy you found your dog! The bond between Kase and your son must be amazing," wrote one Facebook user. Another added: "So sweet, had me teary eyed. So glad he was found and they were reunited!"
