Many parents sing to their babies in a bid to calm them down, soothe them to sleep or make them smile, but Lauren Meggs Furr's son Leland had a completely unexpected reaction to his mother's singing. In a one-minute video posted by the Tennessee native on Facebook recently, the youngster was seemingly moved to tears by his mother's sweet lullaby.

The clip shows Lauren feeding baby Leland while singing Chris Tomlin's Good, Good Father to him. While at first the tot gives a smile as his mother serenades him, his blue eyes begin to fill with tears and he appears visibly moved by the melody.

Lauren continues singing nonetheless while her son remains enraptured by the song with tears streaming silently down his face. The lyrics of the religious song include the words: "You're a good, good Father. It's who you are, it's who you are, it's who you are. And I'm loved by you, it's who I am."

"As I was feeding Leland today, this happened. Even a child knows… He is a good, good Father!" Lauren captioned the video.

The clip, shared on Facebook earlier this month, quickly went viral as viewers commented on how "precious" baby Leland was and revealed they too had been moved to tears by the video.
