A thoughtful dad has recreated his daughter's favourite Disney film Beauty and the Beast as an adorable Valentine's Day gift to her. Josh Rossi, who is a professional photographer, travelled around Europe to find castles, cities and villages he could use in the shoot, and chatted to HELLO! about his three-year-old daughter Nellee's delighted reaction to the photographs.
Josh opened up about the sweet snaps
"She loved them so much," he told HELLO! Online. "Kept jumping up and down and giving me kisses." The adorable photos include little Nellee as Belle while reading a book on her way through the town, and dancing with her dad in the iconic yellow ball gown. Sharing two snaps from the photoshoot on Instagram, Josh wrote: "Alright guys it's here! My Valentine's gift to my daughter Nellee… To compile this shot I used images from Italy, Germany, Swiss alps, California, Utah and Puerto Rico. Crazy right?"
Josh's daughter Nellee "loved" the cute photos
Opening up about the idea to recreate scenes from Beauty and the Beast, he said: "I have loved [it] ever since I was a kid. It's such an amazing story and I wanted to show my daughter how much I loved her." He also confirmed his daughter was a huge fan of the animation, saying: "After seeing it for the first time a few months ago she has fallen in love." However, he admitted that little Nellee isn't too fussed about the upcoming live-action adaptation! "I don't know if she understands what the live action film is," he said. "I think all she wanted was to put on the dresses and do a photoshoot."
Josh travelled around Europe to get the right photos for the shoot
Writing on his own site, Josh explained: "The story of Beauty and The Beast has such an amazing message of true love and being accepted that I wanted to recreate the scenes with my daughter. I also wanted to create something my daughter would have forever that showed the fun relationship and the love I have for her."
