For most, spending time in prison is nothing short of a nightmare, but for this smiling 99-year-old, one of her lifelong dreams had finally come true. Annie, from the Netherlands couldn’t have looked more happy as she posed with handcuffs while sitting in a police cell. Helping her aunt tick off her bucket list wish of spending time in prison, Annie’s kind-hearted niece took it upon herself to help cross the request off – in a way which meant her aunt didn’t actually have to commit any crimes in order to be there for good! Talking to the BBC, a police officer involved in arranging Annie’s trip to prison said: “Her niece came to use with this request. When she was reporting a crime, she told the police officer about Annie’s ‘bucket list’”.
