From the White House to the Empire State Building: Highlights of Prince William and Kate's whistle-stop US trip

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, will make their first official visit to New York on Sunday, and the following day William will jet to Washington D.C., when he will be welcomed into the White House by President Barack Obama.

As well as the White House, the royal couple will also get to see New York's Central Park, the famous Empire State Building and the Metropolitan Museum of Art – the largest art museum in the United States and one of the ten largest in the world. Duchess Kate will also make a trip to Harlem, accompanied by the city's First Lady Chirlane McCray.
