Friday 12 December: Random Acts of Kindness

In the true spirit of Christmas, Random Acts of Kindness returns to London this December at St Martin's Courtyard, with festive cheer and joy being spread to unsuspecting shoppers by rewarding them with a unique selection of gifts completely at random. Running for 12 days from Friday 12th December to Wednesday 24th December, St Martin's Courtyard will also donate £10 to a charity of the winner's choice including The Connection, Save the Children and The Phoenix Garden.

Saturday 13 December: Nordic Yulefest

Drawing on traditions from our Northern neighbours, the Nordic Yulefest is a birch tree lined fairyland with sheepskin laden nooks, marzipan pigs and the charismatic Tomte, leading the merriment at the custom-created Christmas wonderland in east London. A private space available for hire, Nordic Yulefest are also holding 6 very special events (brunch and dinner) in which the public can buy tickets to which will involve a rolling feast, Christmas cocktails and amazing entertainment.

Sunday 14 December: Christmas at Marwell Zoo

Join in the festivities at one of Britain's best zoo's as they celebrate with Mrs Claus, who will be reading the heart-warming tale of The Snowman, while the elves in the magical woodland entertain, while the adults can take a break from the cold with a glass of mulled wine and a festive treat. Craft sessions to make your own crackers will be held while children can meet Santa in his sparkling grotto.

Monday 15 December: Varsity Hotel Christmas Carols

To celebrate the yuletide, Cambridge's Varsity Hotel & Spa will host a completely unique one-off Christmas carol service on its stunning rooftop gardens across December. Starting at 7.00pm, the evening will feature an evening of choir and congregational carols against the beautiful backdrop of the breath-taking Cambridge skyline, while attendees will partake in a festive drink and mince pie, before enjoying performance by leading choristers from Cambridge University.

Tuesday 16 December: Cloud 23 Midnight Feast in Manchester

This winter, Manchester's stunning Cloud 23 bar, situated in the Hilton Deansgate, will be serving this gorgeous winter warmer throughout the whole of December until February. Available 6pm - midnight every night, the feast includes a daily selection of macaroons, American smores, chocolate fudge sticks with hundreds and thousands, salted caramel popcorn, VIP candy floss, chocolate fruit fondue and rum hot chocolate with vanilla whipped cream. Wednesday 17 December: The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and the Company of Dwarves, who have reclaimed the vast wealth of their homeland but must now face the consequences of having unleashed the terrifying Dragon, Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch) upon the defenceless men, women and children of Lake-town.


Thursday 18 December: Christmas choir singing

Sing your way into Christmas by heading to London's boutique hotel, the Andaz Liverpool Street, for an evening of festive tunes. Their fun creation the Festive Folly by Franklin Till – an incredibly oversized Christmas present installation set up in the hotel's lobby – will play host to the East London Chorus Choir who will perform from 6-8pm on the night.
