Jessica Alba works and plays on her Thailand filming adventure

Jessica Alba may be in Thailand to work on her latest film Mechanic: Resurrection, but the stunning star found some down-time in her hectic schedule to soak up the sunshine in the tropical land which is famous for its glittering temples, tropical beaches and Thai smile, for which it famously earns its name "the land of smiles".

On Monday the Sin City actress took time to meditate, showing off her sun-kissed and toned figure in a blue patterned bikini as she struck the traditional yoga "om" pose.

She later shared the photograph of herself sitting calmly in the sunshine, overlooking lush green trees and the sparkling blue sea in the distance, with a bottle of ZICO coconut water perched on the fence in front.

"#cracklifeopen @zicococonut" the 33-year-old captioned the snap.

The mum-of-two, who is also the founder of The Honest Company – has been keeping fans updated with her stint on the Thai set.

Her days kick off early – one photo showed her flexing her muscles with her personal trainer at 5.30 in the morning, and her trip to work entails a breathtaking boat trip.

A "day at the office", meanwhile, is a world away from the average day at the office experienced by her 4.3 million Instagram followers – it includes a white sandy beach, pristine blue waters and palm trees swaying in the breeze.

Keeping her Instagram account personal and quirky, she wrote alongside one photo of herself with co-star Michelle Yeoh looking relaxed as they pose side-by-side: "Look ma it's the amazing #MichelleYeoh #Thailand #mechanicresurrection #makinmoviesabroad."

We're sure her days off are worth the hard work – a collage shows Jessica lying back on the same wooden deck where she practiced yoga, taking a stroll through the idyllic surroundings, a gorgeous pond covered with water lilies and her side table with the day's reading.

What does the stunning beach babe eat while filming? She has given us an idea with a photo of her super healthy breakfast – a plate of fruit – some even cut into adorable heart shapes.
