Cameron Diaz enjoyed a magical start to 2015 by marrying Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden in an intimate ceremony at her Beverly Hills home. And the stunning actress made sure she stayed on cloud nine by jetting off for a romantic rustic-chic honeymoon with her new husband towards the end of January.
The new Mr and Mrs chose a five-star resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA, for their special getaway. As a Hollywood actress, Cameron is accustomed to being in the spotlight, so it's no wonder that she and her main man opted for a low-key break in the American state with the lowest population – just six people per square mile.
Instead of the hustle and bustle of the city, the newlyweds would have found themselves surrounded by unspoiled mountain vistas and vast forested wilderness in the home of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
Cameron and Benji stayed in a charming cabin at the Shooting Star golf resort, according to Us Weekly. An adventurer’s paradise and snow sports mecca, golf, skiing and snowboarding are all ways to explore the incredible landscape of the Teton Mountain range, as well as climbing, biking and hiking. Moose, elk, bison, and big horn sheep are just a few of the wild animals that can be glimpsed roaming freely in the open landscape.
For relaxation, the luxury resort naturally has a spa onsite, with two steaming hot tubs, one of which is submerged below the pool terrace beside a brook, overlook the course. The dining room boasts a copper fire pit, cozy wrap-around booths and stunning views of Snake River Range.
A trout stream and 1,300 acres of blissfully natural open space were also at Cameron and Benji's fingertips at the resort, which has been developed following architectural and landscape guidelines to ensure that each cabin complements the physical beauty and Western traditions of Jackson Hole.
