Beyoncé and Jay Z made a recent trip to Florence, Italy, for the wedding of billionaire financial consultant Noam Gottesman and Bianca Duenas. The power couple naturally made the most of being in the land of gelato, pizza, and art and Beyoncé was keen to share highlights from the trip with her fans on her website.

Several snaps show the duo, who were accompanied by their adorable three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, indulging in the many delights Italy has to offer. Beyoncé – who has recently been following a vegan diet – put her eating restrictions to one side as the tucked into pizza and ice cream.

One photo shows the singer posing in a local restaurant before a plate of Margherita pizza while another shows her husband and daughter sitting at a table in a traditional Italian establishment. The trio seem to explored the historic city the best way – on foot – taking plenty of snaps on their way.

No doubt at Blue's request, Beyoncé took a ride on a carousel in Florence's Piazza della Repubblica with her daughter. The mother-daughter duo wore matching black ensembles.

The music power couple were also spotted at The Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, where they took part in a group tour of the prestigious art academy.

Some snaps show Blue wearing a floral dress with giant bows in her hair from inside their ornate hotel room. Beyoncé also shared several short videos of the trio.

The 20-time Grammy winner and her hubby also got to have a date night away from their little one. One shot showed Jay Z looking sharp in a head-to-toe white outfit as he stood in a doorway.

In February, Beyonce announced that she was launching her very own meal plan called 22 Days Nutrition in partnership with personal trainer Marco Borges.

"I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example. He is the most energetic person I know and it's all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle," she wrote in an official statement. Adding: "He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can."
