The exclusive safari and Seychelles resorts Ronan and Storm said 'yes' to

Ronan Keating and his new wife Storm certainly know how to kick off married life – the couple followed in the footsteps of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, who also chose to honeymoon in Seychelles. The Jolie-Pitts and the Beckhams have also holidayed in the 115-island Seychelles archipelago off the eastern coast of Africa.

And their honeymoon didn't stop – or even start – there. On their way to paradise, Ronan and Storm stopped off in South Africa to spend some time on safari at the exclusive Ulusaba lodge owned by Sir Richard Branson in the Sabi Sand private game reserve.

There the newlyweds, who tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on 17 August, featured exclusively in HELLO! magazine, took a walk on the wild side as they got up close to wildlife in their natural habitat.

While they weren't on game drives in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, the lucky honeymooners were staying in one of Ulusaba's luxurious Cliff Lodges, a private two-bedroom suite where they had access to a private pool, mini spa, gym, as well as beautiful panoramic views over the bush below.

From their private lodge the former Boyzone star and his Australian model wife headed to one of the most exclusive resorts in the Indian Ocean, the private resort island of Fregate.

There one of 16 villas, with an ocean-facing private pool and Jacuzzi, was awaiting them.

Besides relaxing by their villa's infinity pool, having romantic dinners on the beach and having their every whim catered to, Ronan and Storm may have explored any of the island’s seven beaches, its indigenous magpie robins, its 2,000 Aldabra tortoises – the small island is home to one of the world’s largest populations – and gone on a diving expedition.

They did go a deep-sea fishing trip, with Ronan later posting a snap of the couples' catch, which was to be used for cooking theirs, other guests' and staff meals that day.

Aside from the island's eco-tourism drawcard, it is the absolute tranquility and privacy which makes this private resort island so tempting to celebrities, and no doubt this new Mr and Mrs made the most of it all.

All-inclusive Private Pool Residences on private resort island of Fregate cost from £3,000 per night.
All-inclusive stay at Ulusaba's Cliff Lodge, including twice daily game drives, costs from ZAR 74,000 or approximately £3,500 per night.
