Hurray for Friday! This weekend is particularly special as the Queen's granddaughter Princess Eugenie has married her long-time love Jack Brooksbank. And while royal fans are celebrating at home, in London and in Windsor, we're taking a look at other fun things to do in the capital, starting with...
Hang out in west London's giant woodland garden
Great news, The Prince is back for winter. West London's most popular hangout has just re-opened, and for those who haven't been yet, you need to go. There's a cosy pub and three huge bars to choose from, but our favourite is the giant covered woodland garden which has been decorated with winter foliage and greenery. Warm up with some winter beverages including mulled wine and sloe gin fizz, and tuck into food by Patty & Bun, Coqfighter, Foley's and Edu. Those who sign up on their website can get a free prosecco punch.
Play Skittles at Skylight
A carpark in its previous life, Skylight is now one of London's coolest rooftops; to welcome in autumn, they've launched a new pop-up called HarvestFest. From apple crumble cocktails and craft beers to a more than gouda street food line up from Raclette Brothers, they've pretty much nailed it. Activities are in full swing too, as you can look forward to playing games of hay bale skittles, apple draughts and horseshoes, all to a beautiful backdrop of London's skyline.
Try some off-the-wall cocktails at Twisted
You know those insane cocktail recipes you see online but know you'll never be able to pull off at home? Twisted is an insanely popular Facebook page that shows you how to make off-the-wall drinks, and in a drastic turn of events, they've opened a pop-up to bring their creations to life. Head down to their plot in Shoreditch this month for colour-changing mojitos, cookies and cream white Russians, gigantic sharing cocktails and everything else in between.
Get your hands on a free chocolate bouquet
Who doesn't love chocolate AND flowers? Cadbury has opened its THANKS A BUNCH flower shop, where they give out a bouquet of flowers made entirely out of Cadbury Roses. It's the perfect gift for a loved one, or yourself! The pop-up can be found in the middle of Soho Square until Saturday, from 12 to 6pm. But be quick, it's a first-come, first-served basis.
