Hit the Swiss slopes like the Duke and Duchess of CambridgeHead to the Arosa resort on the Swiss slopes, where Prince William and pregnant Kate recently attended the wedding of close friend polo player Mark Tomlinson and Olympian Laura Bechtolsheimer. William and younger brother Harry, who also attended, made the most of the weekend with a spot of skiing. Meanwhile Kate, nearly five months pregnant, took the more cautious route of tobogganing in the Swiss Alps, heading off with a traditional wooden sledge provided by the Tschuggen Grand Hotel, where the wedding party resided during their stay. This royal hotel is no longer available for Easter, but many luxury options are, including the four star Blatter's Bellavista Hotel.Another, newly-confirmed, royal couple was also warming up the slopes recently. Prince Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas, 24, were seen embracing at Verbier in Switzerland, where they joined Harry's uncle Prince Andrew, his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York and their two daughters Princess Beatrice, 24 and Princess Eugenie, 22, who were all celebrating Andrew's 53rd birthday.

And Rome continued to be in the spotlight while the world waited for the papal conclave to begin, which began on 12 March and lasted just two days. Soak up the jubilant atmosphere in Rome over the Easter weekend, eat traditional pizza, mouth-watering pasta and home-made gelato, in between taking in the city's sights. Needless to say first on the list will be the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica...

Model of the moment Cara Delevingne presented a tombola and British pop star Rita Ora also graced the stage to perform to the royal crowd, which included Charlotte Casiraghi and boyfriend Gad Elmaleh, Prince Albert and his wife Princess Charlene. Live in luxury for a few days among the Monaco royals, who have just welcomed a new generation into the family as Tatiana Santo Domingo gave birth to a son on Thursday. Top sights for your list include the Prince's Palace, the Opera House and the cathedral, where Grace Kelly rests today.
