Friday 19 September - Liverpool Food and Drink Festival

Celebrate the great British pub on Friday evening at Liverpool's Food and Drink festival. Pub grub, real ales, and live music will all be on hand, as well as a street food zone featuring everything from posh pork pies, cheeses and olives to coffee, fudge and liqueurs. Saturday 20 September - Open House London

Open House London aims to promote public awareness and appreciation for some of the capital's lesser-known buildings and parks, and celebrating it's 22nd birthday, we think they're doing a brilliant job. Over 850 house, offices, estates, parks, and grounds will be open for free, and all have stewards and guides to discuss the rich heritage to be found at each.

Sunday 21 September - The Handmade FairQueen of Craft Kirstie Allsopp hosts a wide range of exhibitors and craft fans in the gorgeous setting of Hampton Court Palace this weekend for the first ever Handmade Fair. Monday 22 September - Late Turner at the Tate

The first exhibit to focus on the later works of the great British painter J.M.W Turner, Late Turner brings together the paintings that are often considered his best, and yet at the time were misunderstood and often controversial. Open until January 2015, highlights include Ancient Rome; Agrippina Landing with the Ashes of Germanicus and Modern Rome – Campo Vaccino.

Tuesday 23 September - Fashion Night Out

Fashion's Night Out returns for its sixth year and this year will be spread across two of London's busiest shopping streets - Oxford Street and Regents Street. The evening is a celebration of the joy of shopping, and brands and shops involved include & Other Stories, Liberty, and Vivienne Westwood.

Branchage Film Festival may be the UK's prettiest film festival, set in the historic harbour of St Aubin's Village. Watch a film, enjoy live music, or take in an educational talk in the century-old Belgian Spiegeltent which forms the base for all events.
