The five-star hotel, offering an award-winning spa, Michelin-starred restaurant and 63 bedrooms – a classic double room starts from approximately £224 – and suites from £350, has been booked out for the entire weekend, reportedly by Amal's parents Baria and Ramzi Alamuddin.

Close friends and family of the new Mrs Clooney are expected to attend, including loved ones who weren't present at the happy couple's wedding weekend in Venice.

A large white marquee has reportedly been erected within the 65 acres of manicured gardens of the estate, situated just a stone's throw from Amal's parents' home.

The intimate, weekend-long bash will likely feature dinner, to be served by the five-star hotel's Michelin-starred kitchen. Starters on offer in the restaurant include beetroot carpaccio and goat's cheese, scallops and smoked salmon, while British classic mains such as sirloin of beef, duck and corn-fed chicken are also on the menu.

Its location in the heart of the rolling countryside of South Bucks means guests can enjoy vistas of the River Thames and the Chiltern Hills, yet be just 40 minutes from West London.
