Have you ever wondered how Hollywood stars spend their lavish family holidays? Well, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie certainly don't do things in halves when it comes to leisure. The parents have whisked their six children to Thailand where the whole family are relaxing in an $18,000-per-night resort. Jealous?

The happy couple and their kids, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, nine, and seven-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, are staying in a luxurious 10-bedroom pad at the Amanpuri beach resort in Phuket. The stunning setting boasts pristine reefs, golf courses, Buddhist temples and unbeatable landscapes.

"The whole family is staying in a two-floor, mammoth spread that comes with a staff of eight servants, private gym and a pool surrounded by minipagodas," according to the New York Post's Page Six.

The Jolie-Pitts have been spending a lot of time in Asia recently, where Angelina is shooting First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia. The actress also wrote the Netflix film, which is an adaptation of Loung Ung's memoir about her escape from the notorious killing fields.

The 40-year-old star hasn't been too far from her family while shooting the new film. She's been lucky enough to have had a helping hand from her Cambodian-born son, Maddox, who is working with his mother on set as a production assistant.

The family are enjoying the beautiful scenery

Leading up to Christmas, Angelina and Brad took a romantic break to Vietnam, which is also where son Pax was born. The couple, who said "I do" in August 2014, were seen enjoying each other's company as they visited idyllic Halong Bay on December 23.

While the family soaks up the sun, sea and sand, Us Weekly reports that the family have been spotted "swimming in the sea off a luxury yacht, as well as playing minigolf, shopping at a mall and visiting a local Hindu temple where their mom prayed."

The publication also noted that there was some drama on the family getaway when Pax injured his leg in a reported jet-skiing accident, but was not seriously harmed.

The pair took a private boat ride to the bay, where they got into the small canoe and explored caves in the area. After starring alongside each other as a married couple for the second time in By The Sea, it seems the loved up duo are making the most of some much-needed family time before their busy schedules get in the way.
