Alice Through the Looking Glass

Alice finds herself travelling back in time after she hears that the Mad Hatter is depressed over the death of his family and is spiralling out of control.

She steals the Chronosphere from Time to travel into the past, where she encounters a young Hatter and the evil Red Queen.

Sit out on the terrace and enjoy the finest French rosé alongside light bites including saffron arancini, pissaladière (a thin onion tart delicately seasoned with anchovies and black olives) and panisse, a traditional delicacy from Nice.

Lion King the musical - new cast

A new cast has joined the London production of Disney's The Lion King this month. Alongside changes in the ensemble cast, Nicholas Afoa has taken on the role of Simba at the Lyceum Theatre. 

The award-winning musical is now in its 17th year and has entertained over 13 million theatregoers since it launched. So if you haven't seen it already, you're missing out!

Tickets are on sale until 27 November 2016 for individuals and 4 June 2017 for groups.

Chapel Down wine pairing menu

Hot on the heels of London Wine Week comes English Wine Week. To celebrate, wine producer Chapel Down and Roast restaurant in foodie favourite Borough market have teamed up to create a special menu.

Guests will be served six English-inspired dishes that will be paired with a glass of Chapel Down wine. Platters include Jersey Rock oysters, cured sea trout with crab sauce, pork belly with mash and apple and crumble.

The Sky Kids Café

For some half term family fun, head down to the Sky Kids Café where children can step into the captivating worlds of some of their favourite TV shows. Kids will be able to play amongst famous scenes, come face to face with their beloved characters, and be part of their magical worlds – all for free.

Celebrity chef and mother Lisa Faulkner has also created a special menu.

Sunken Cities: Egypt's Lost Worlds

For over a thousand years, two of Ancient Egypt's lost cities Thonis-Heracleion and Canopus lay at the mouth of the Nile.

Over the past 20 years archaeologists have made some spectacular underwater discoveries, ranging from colossal statues to intricate gold jewellery.

The story of their discovery is being told for the first time in this blockbuster exhibition at the British Museum.
