Open-air screenings

Londoners are spoilt for choice when it comes to enjoying open-air film screenings this summer.

Exchange Square in Broadgate is hosting a wealth of blockbusters, with family-friendly films running on Saturdays.

Paddington Central on Sheldon Square will also be screening classics such as Breakfast at Tiffany's, Singin' in the Rain and Grease. Movie buffs are encouraged to don fancy dress to really enter into the world of film.

Meanwhile, Regent's Place's open air screen will be playing comedy crowd-pleasers including Clueless and Pitch Perfect and cult classics such as Top Gun and Dirty Dancing.

B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Cocktail)

There’s a new kid in town and he goes by the name of B.Y.O.C. ft. James Cochran.

For those who aren't familiar with B.Y.O.C., it's a cocktail bar where guests are invited to bring their own alcohol and the talented mixologists will whip up creative cocktails.

The masters of the speakeasy are now back with their fourth instalment, taking up residency on iconic Great Windmill Street in London.

This B.Y.O.C. however has an added twist as culinary king James Cochran has joined the line-up. A former chef at the 2* Michelin restaurant of The Ledbury, James has created an eclectic menu that represents Modern British
and Scottish eats with an homage to his Caribbean roots.

Sherlock Holmes: The Experience

Sherlock Holmes will be brought to life at the Madame Tussauds London museum this summer, starting from Friday. Two experiences are on offer -  Sherlock Holmes: The Experience and The Game's Afoot.

Sherlock Holmes: The Experience invites guests to take part in an immersive theatrical adventure of story-telling, staged in the atmospheric basement of the Marylebone attraction. Visitors will be transported to some of the most famous places and moments from the most popular stories.

The Game's Afoot, meanwhile, will allow visitors to play detective and solve a criminal case worthy of the great detective himself. Separate tickets are sold for this evening event.

The Moretti Gran Tour

The festival celebrating authentic Italian cuisine and culture is returning to the capital this summer!

Visitors to the pop-up in Brick Lane, East London will be invited to experience a culinary tour of Italy's regions, with ten street food vendors including Forza Win and Pizza Pilgrims serving traditional Italian delights from midday until late.

New additions to the food festival include a fresh Italian food market stocked with regional produce and a personalised dining experience where you'll learn the intricacies of Italian cooking as dishes are created in front of you.

Foodies wishing to cook delicious Italian dishes can book courses on the popular Moretti Masterclasses throughout the duration of the six-day event, running from 19 to 24 July.

Breakfast at Hogwarts

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is inviting Potter fans to watch dawn break over the Hogwarts castle model, while enjoying an exclusive breakfast reception.  

After breakfast, visitors will be given early access to the Studio Tour where the Great Hall will be specially dressed for breakfast as it was in the magical film series, right down to the boxes of Pixie Puffs and Cheeri Owls on the trestle tables.

Other highlights of the studio tour include the Gryffindor common room, Dumbledore's office, the iconic Platform 9 ¾ that houses the original Hogwarts Express locomotive, as well as the Backlot Café, number four Privet Drive, and Diagon Alley.

The tour will be open to guests from 21 to 28 August.
