The Drop Off

In this immersive experience taking place entirely on the streets of London, you are charged with finding a man who doesn't want to be found, leading you on a ninety-minute adventure as you chase witnesses through tube stations, are wined and dined by mob bosses and escape from those tailing you by any means necessary.

Depending on how you handle the theatrics of the real time detective experience, either by throwing yourself into the thick of things or giggling on the periphery of the action, the actors never falter in reacting to your moves while keeping the thrills going, leaving even the most reluctant of audience participants surging with adrenaline, suspicious of every passer-by and anticipating the show's next move.

The performance is ran by the excellent Immersive Ensemble and runs until October, but hurry! Only 12 people can take part per show, making it one of London's most exclusive events.

Pupaid

On Saturday Pupaid is returning to Primrose Hill Park for a fun day out, raising awareness of puppy farming with live music, dog displays, dog boutique stalls and the hugely popular celebrity judged dog show.

Dog lovers Lucy Watson (pictured), Rachael Riley, Sue Perkins, Ricky Gervais, Brian May are all confirmed to attend this year's Fun Dog Show.

The free event will be held from 10am to 5pm.

Humble Grape

There is plenty to get excited about at Humble Grape. The wine experts are holding special evenings in their Battersea and Fleet Street bars, in celebration of their artisan wines.

In September they will play host to winemaker Francois Haasbroek, of Blackwater Wines from Cape Town. The following month is the Blind Challenge event, where guests will sample some unknown and otherwise unavailable wines, exploring the multisensory experience in wine tasting.

Humble Grape have also just launched their bespoke Wine Club service, matching wines to their customer’s' palates and bringing them direct from small-lot vineyards direct to their customer’s' door.

FESTIVAL

Festejar

It's almost fiesta time in Manchester! For the third year running Festejar will take over the city's Albert Square for four days, bringing a taste of the Med to the Mancs with a host of Iberian treats.

Expect live music, a food market, drinking, Spanish dancing lessons and crafts.

The festival, sponsored by leading Rioja wine brand Marques de Caceres, will take place from 1 to 4 September.

The Diner

The Diner is ready and waiting to fuel your American food obsession!

Their latest branch on The Strand is open, serving up some drool-worthy grub from their heavenly burgers - made fresh using the finest Speyside Highland beef - to their not your every day hot dogs.

Bringing a new meaning to tea time is the restaurant's selection of tea-infused cocktails, including the G & Tea and the more adventurous Red Slushy.

The eatery is decked out with their famous retro interiors - you could be forgiven for thinking you'd stepped into the USA!

POP-UP

The Bottle

A pop-up bar called The Bottle is setting up shop at Pop Brixton and hoping to raise awareness about the Royal National Lifeboat Institution's (RNLI) H2Only fundraising challenge. Could you cut out you favourite drinks and only drink water for ten days to raise money for the brave volunteer RNLI crew members?

The Bottle will showcase ten different regional varietals of sea water, and every bottle tells a story of a well-loved British or Irish coastal location, and how its water can kill.

Each looks refreshing at first glance, but the description and tasting notes highlight the dangerous and often life-threatening potential contained inside.

Free bottles of mineral water will be handed out at the pop-up from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 September.

OnRoundhay

Get ahead of the game and snap up your tickets for OnRoundhay festival in Leeds, a new family, music and food festival taking place on 17 September.

Music will be provided by headline acts James and Primal Scream, while Wolf Alice is also confirmed to perform.

There's a real family sense to the festival, with children under 12 going free. Puffin Books is hosting a children's area, while the John Lewis Food Village will be home to food experiences and a demonstration stage.

Great Italian Chefs

For one night only, Great Italian Chefs is partnering with Italy's favourite coffee Lavazza to present a one-off special dinner.

Chef Jacob Kenedy of iconic Italian restaurant Bocca Di Lupo and Norbert Niederkofler, holder of two Michelin stars, will prepare a four-course dinner at Soho's Bocca Di Lupo on Friday 2 September.

On arrival guests will be treated to a famed Lavazza Espresso martini and enjoy expertly paired wines to complement their meal.
