Robbie Williams and wife Ayda have kicked off the new year in style and headed on an idyllic sunny break! The couple have been giving fans major holiday envy with their wanderlust-inducing photos as they enjoy some rest and relaxation, lounging by crystal clear tropical waters on a white sandy beach.

In her typically tongue-in-cheek posts, Ayda has shared a series of fun snaps from the couple's first few days abroad, adding quirky captions and funny details to keep her followers giggling.

One snap sees Robbie posing by the sea, showing off his red swimming trunks which feature a lobster motif. While the couple have clearly left the cold British winter weather in favour of more tropical climates, Ayda checked in their location as 'Blackpool', with many of her followers picking up on the joke and taking to the comments to laugh along.

In another photo, the mother-of-two can be seen lounging in a hammock between two palm trees, showing off her enviably toned figure in a bikini and fedora hat. Ayda paid a quirky tribute to husband Robbie, with his song Lazy Days playing in the background. "#lazydays #Thursday #instamood #instalife #beachlife #relaxing #robbiewilliams #bliss," she simply captioned the snap.

No doubt the couple are enjoying some quality downtime together ahead of what is set to be a busy year for Robbie. The former Take That singer will be heading off on a major stadium tour this summer. The She's The One hitmaker will embark on a series of concerts across Europe, kicking off in the UK with shows in London, Cardiff and Dublin before heading to Germany.

Synthopop duo Erasure will be joining the singer as his support act – which Robbie has admitted he was particularly excited about. "Big fan of them when I was a kid, big fan of them now," he said during a press conference in which the news of his tour was announced. "They've got a huge amount of hits, they're perfect for my show."
