hellomagazine.comA round-up of the top events to try this week, from Gary Barlow's new musical The Girls, to the House of Holi celebration
FOOD AND DRINK
The burger chain has launched a brand new dog-themed food and drink menu throughout March and April to support local dog charities. The SPECIALS hotdog menu and six strong 'IN THE DOG HOUSE' cocktail collection will be available from the 6 March to 1 May at all MEATliquor restaurants across London, Bristol, Brighton and Leeds - as well as MEATmarket and MEATmission.
When customers order THE LITTLEST HOBO hotdog or the ST BERNARD cocktail, £1 from each sale will be donated to a local dogs charity.
Gary Barlow's new musical adaptation of the 2003 film Calendar Girls, which in turn is based on the true story of a group of women in Yorkshire who appeared in a nude calendar to raise money for Leukaemia Research, is simply beautiful.
Full of laughs (with emotional moments which will leave even the most stoic theatregoer reaching for tissues), and bright, memorable tunes, this is one musical that is not to be missed. Opening late last week, the show has already received rave reviews and will be a night to remember!

House of Holi
The House of Holi celebration at Cinnamon Kitchen is back - and it's bigger and brighter than ever! The restaurant will be setting up a party pod outside Vivek Singh's modern Indian restaurant in Devonshire Square, inviting revellers to don their protective white suits and step into the madness at the House of Holi, for thirty minutes of paint-pelting friends and family! The pod will be open from 7 to 13 March, with the Holi festival taking place on 13 March.
Cinnamon Kitchen will be serving up a vibrant five-course Holi menu, while a pop up bar will also be serving an array of colourful Holi cocktails.
