Ever wanted to live like the rich and famous? Well now you can with a holiday in Sting's beach house in Malibu, California – assuming you have a spare £156,000 to spend, that is. The Message in a Bottle singer is listing his seven-bedroom, ten bathroom estate in Malibu for short-term let for $200,000 according to property site Trulia.

The beachfront home was built in 1927 and offers direct access to the beach, along with a large terrace for entertaining guests. It also comes equipped with a private swimming pool and gardens along with a fully-equipped gym, so there would be little need to ever leave!

Sting and his wife Trudie Styler have decorated the home in a traditional style, with bold red and yellow paintwork offset with traditional dark wood furnishings and wooden ceiling beams. The property is located in the elite Malibu Colony neighbourhood, where other famous residents have included film director Judd Apatow and his wife Leslie Mann. Sold?
