A new sub-zero attraction has popped up at London Bridge City, Eis Haus. The alpine venue is inviting guests to don their warmest clothes and enter the very Instagrammable ice bar, where they can enjoy artisan drinks from frozen glasses at -5 degrees, while admiring the many ice sculptures. Outside, revellers can warm up with hot toddies under cover, and enjoy entertainment from live bands and DJs. The pop-up is open until 3 January.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Picking up directly after 2015's The Force Awakens, Episode VIII: The Last Jedi follows Daisy Ridley's Rey on her quest to master the force from the exiled Luke Skywalker as Poe, Finn and new character Rose attempt to rescue the rebellion from almost assured destruction at the hands of the First Order led by Supreme Leader Snoke and General Hux. Festive Fizz Brunch Social
Flight Club are getting into the Christmas spirit this weekend with their Festive Fizz Brunch Social. The dress code is obviously the finest Christmas jumper you can muster (there's going to be a prize for the best one) and word on the street is that Santa himself will be popping around to each oche to dish out some festive treats. Food and drink-wise, you can feast on bottomless pizza slices and you'll get a whole bottle of prosecco to yourself, with a glass of Winter Pimm's on arrival on top to help you kickstart your session. Not forgetting that Christmas is the season of giving, £5 of every ticket sold will be donated to Save The Children. If that's not reason enough to go, we don't know what is.
Feeling festive? Take down that Tesco-bought wreath from your front door and attend the Festive Wreath Workshop at The Imaginarium. Taking place this Sunday, an experienced florist will be teaching you how to craft the most stunning Christmas wreath ever. You'll be working with the likes of scented foliage, mosses, berries, dried fruits, and pinecones before beautifying your creation with decorative ribbons. Christmas music will be playing in the background and you'll have learnt a skill for life - what's not to love?
You have over a month to book in, but tickets are selling fast! Banish those January blues and turn the most depressing month of the year in Funuary as you take on The Grift, a new immersive experience with a twist. The part game, part theatre event, which premieres on 23 January at Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green, drops guests in the middle of an adventure where they will be trained in the art of the con. Guests will meet characters, solve clues, have a masterclass from the ultimate grifter and be trained to pull off one final swindle - to take down a renowned criminal mastermind. The fun immersive evening tests your intelligence, with the night culminating with the ultimate challenge - to take down an evil genius at his own game! Guests are also invited to dine at The Corner Room where they can feast on dishes including Vacherin fondue and slow cooked venison shoulder.
