House of Holi

This year's House of Holi festival is back at Cinnamon Kitchen restaurant from Monday 26 February to Saturday 10 March. Don your protective suits and step into the colourful world of madness; for 30 minutes, you and your friends can pelt paint at each other, all to mark the Indian Festival of Colour! Tickets cost £12, while more extensive packages include authentic Holi bites and either a signature Holi cocktail or mocktail.

Señor Ceviche

Señor Ceviche's new brunch banquet has just arrived in Fitzrovia, and it's a must-visit for fans of Peruvian food. Standout dishes on the bottomless menu - yes that's right, bottomless - include the two types of ceviche, the pork belly bites and the mushroom and sweet potato tequenos. The starters, sides and small plates are all unlimited, plus diners can also choose one main, from baby back ribs to flat iron steak. Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal

If you're passing by London's Paternoster Square from 1 to 11 March, it'll be hard to miss Marie Curie's inspiring Garden of Light. The installation will be made of 4,000 handcrafted daffodils, each one representing the people the terminal illness charity will support throughout the month of March. Perhaps the most poignant time to visit it at night, when the structure will be lit up to symbolise the invaluable difference Marie Curie Nurses and hospices make day and night. This year's Garden of Light has been created to support Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal – the charity's biggest annual fundraising drive which takes place every March.

Bala Baya

Tucked away under the arches at Southwark, food connoisseurs will find Bala Baya, London's - arguably - best Tel Aviv-inspired restaurant. First-time diners have to try the tasting menu, which offers all-time favourites including salmon gravalax, beef pasta, spinach and pecorino and roasted cauliflower. Warm fluffy pitta and tahini hummus sit perfectly on the side. The dishes are perfect for sharing, full of colour and oh-so-flavoursome, while the vibe in the restaurant is ideal for dinner; buzzy but not too loud, and busy but not overwhelming. The wine on offer hails from Israel, but for those who want a non-alcohol drink, the gazoz mocktails are just the ticket - refreshing and bursting with fruity flavour.

You wouldn't think to visit Heliot Steak House, located in The Hippodrome on Leicester Square. From the outside, the venue seems the perfect playground for casino-goers, but upstairs, diners can feast on some of the best steak in London. The restaurant has just launched its new menu, introducing to-die-for USDA prime dry aged steaks which have been aged in house. Fillet, sirloin, T-bone and ribeye are all options, as are a variety of sauces such as the favourites, red wine and pepper. Go for the surf and turf option by adding a lobster tail or king prawn onto your steak. Sides include mac 'n' cheese, triple cooked chips, butter leaf salad and leeks gratin - what's not to love?
