The A-list guide for a luxury day on board Queen Mary 2

Read on for HELLO!'s top tips for what to do whilst on board a luxury, transatlantic crossing - in association with Cunard

Start your day off in spectacular style! Head to the Britannia restaurant for a splendid breakfast, while watching the glistening blue sea pass by. If you fancy enjoying something slightly more exotic, take a trip to one of the outdoor decks where you can lounge outside under the sun, taking in the refreshing atmosphere whilst drinking a refreshing cocktail from the bar inside the Pavilion. Guests can also head to the on board gymnasium for a fitness session, with classes for yoga, pilates, indoor cycling and much more, available to book. If you fancy splurging, then you can also treat yourself to a one-on-one session with a qualified personal trainer – or just simply take a dip in one of the many swimming pools and whirlpools.

Enjoy some of the beautiful galleries on board Queen Mary 2, or take a tour through the stunning state-of-the-art library. The art collection on board Queen Mary 2 is incredible. But if you fancy spoiling yourself then head to Deck 3 for a shopping splurge. With designer brands such as Michael Kors, Furla and new addition Mulberry all on board, you won’t be left feeling disappointed.

Right across the lobby is the new Laurent Perrier champagne lounge, here guests can enjoy a special masterclass where you get to learn all about the prestigious brand’s history. During this seating, you are guided through a selection of special wines from this famous champagne, paired with a delectable charcuterie board to complement the flavours of each wine.

The evenings are always a glamourous affair! Women must be dressed to the nines, while men should put on their best suits. For a little rest and relaxation, book a quick appointment at the Canyon Ranch Spa Club – here you can make use of the beauty facilities, whether that’s getting your hair or nails done, or enjoying a massage – this is the place to be. For an exquisite evening meal and indulgent treat, you must head to the renowned French-inspired restaurant The Verandah. Then continue the night with some live music and dancing. The best nights spent aboard a Cunard ocean liner is usually a formal night for the famous themed balls – a signature part of that experience. You can spend an enchanting evening dancing to the live orchestra in the largest ballroom at sea.
