Margot Robbie is the ultimate Hollywood leading lady – and she has the stunning wardrobe to match. The 32-year-old has been rushed off her feet recently, working hard to promote her latest picture Babylon.

From chic Bottega Veneta suits to hooded Alaïa classics, the actress has consistently raised the bar at each of the film's premieres, and the Australian version posed no exception.

A tale of ambition and indulgence, Babylon follows the lives of several characters contending with Hollywood’s shift from silent films to ‘talkies’ in the 1920s. Releasing in UK cinemas on 20 January, a spot of Roaring 20s decadence sounds like the perfect escape from the January blues.

Though there were zero blues in sight on the red carpet, in fact, Margot looked thrilled to be back in her homeland. The Barbie star pulled out all the ahead of the screening within Sydney's State Theatre, turning heads in a supermodel-worthy slinky Versace gown.

Sending fashion fans into overdrive recently with her powdery pink chevron Chanel gown which echoed the first-ever Barbie doll, Margot flipped the switch at the Australian premiere, opting for a lustrous baby blue.

Her figure-hugging maxi gown certainly wouldn’t have looked out of place on a Versace runway in the 1990s. The piece featured some of the brand's trademark design motifs, including Medusa emblem hardware on the straps as well as its unique reverse sweetheart neckline. Inspired by the Greco-Roman stories present in much of Italian art, the house's founder Gianni chose Medusa's head as Versace's logo for its mythical significance.

Margot's showstopping gown also featured twisted shaping details over her hips and a sultry thigh split, trimmed with vibrant red lace.

The actress went for a minimalist makeup moment

The actress allowed her exquisite dress to take centre stage, prompting us to believe that perhaps the TikTok fashion brigade were onto something last week when they pointed out the sheer number of celebrities who are going necklace-free in 2023.

Jewels or no jewels, there's no doubt that Margot knows how to stage a style moment worthy of The Big Six
