Cher Horowitz from Clueless has to be one of our favourite film style icons. In 1995's famous teen movie, the blonde bombshell was way ahead of the fashion pack, rocking this season's must-have checks - long socks, perfect pastels and plenty of co-ords to boot. Who can remember her virtual wardrobe and revolving rails packed to the brim with clothes? Many of the pieces the Beverley Hills princes wore would totally work today – and Topshop has cottoned on to this, producing a near-on-identical checked co-ord that looks exactly like the set Cher first wore in one of the opening scenes of Clueless. We are obsessed with this 90s style yellow check denim jacket, £45, and the matching skirt which comes in at just £30. Wearing them together is the perfect way to rock that retro vibe, but as with all co-ords, its easy to mix and match. Pair the jacket with your favourite skinny jeans and in the autumn, a sweet roll neck would look fabulous with the skirt.

Alicia slipped on the famous yellow plaid mini skirt and jacket and fans went wild when Chrissy Teigen shared a snap of her on Instagram.
Clueless also starred Stacey Dash as Dionne Davenport,the late Brittany Murphy as Tai Fraser and Paul Rudd as Josh Lucas.

Alicia, now 41, reflected on the role last year and said: "I was young and I thought it was really overwhelming and it was really intense. I did a bunch of movies, and then nine movies later, I did Clueless. When it's like, 'That's Alicia Silverstone!' everywhere I went, it was a lot for a little person. But then life goes on and you figure it out."
