Sheryl's daughter Ivy "Coco" Maurice styles her, and the star gushed about her work to WWD, expressing: "I have an incredible style team led by Ivy Coco. And she does an amazing job, she keeps getting better and better."

Fashion runs deep in the family, and Ivy expressed where her love for style came from.

She shared with Essence: "I've known fashion pretty much my whole life.  My grandmother was a designer and she has the title of being the pioneer of fashion in Jamaica."

The trio take immense pride in their Jamaican heritage, and show their roots through their style any chance they get.

Ivy's grandmother of the same name created the Kareeba, which is a menswear suit, after Jamaica gained its independence in 1962.

The stylist explained: "It basically changed and redefined how people saw independence, especially for Black nations, Black islands."

Sheryl's daughter found her style by experimenting in her grandmother's shop in her motherland.

She recalled: "I would take the scraps and try and make my own pieces of garments. I would mess up the sewing machines."

In the beginning, Ivy was "scared to work with [Sheryl]," however, with more years of experience, came more confidence.

Ivy revealed: "It's just really been a beautiful experience. We've redefined the fashion of a certain age. The best accessory in fashion is when you're wearing the garments, not the garments wearing you."

The stylist loves to interconnect the past and present, while keeping her grandma's fashionable touch alive, adding: "I take a lot of pride in archives. I take a lot of pride in going into different types of consignment shops and [looking through] magazines."

She concluded: "I definitely see myself as an archivist because I actually hold a lot of pieces from my grandmother's collections in the '70s."
