Prince William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales attended the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church earlier today at Sandringham in Norfolk. They were joined by Prince George and Princess Charlotte and well as Prince Louis.

King Charles III is celebrating his first Christmas as Monarch with the royal family, after he ascended to the throne on September 8, 2022, with his coronation set for May 6, 2023.

The Princess of Wales was joined by her family

Naturally for the momentous occasion, here at the Hello! Fashion office, we were all wondering what Princess Kate would opt for, as her Christmas day outfits have been nothing short of spectacular over the years.

Surprisingly, she eschewed her traditional festive gear and went for a look which was refreshingly much more countryside Kate, perhaps a hark back to her roots as a Berkshire girl. The future Queen rewore her dark green utilitarian Alexander McQueen Coat, which we’ve seen her wear on several occasions as well as her trusty bespoke Gianvito Rossi Brown Suede Boots.

Princess Kate paired the outfit with brown accessories

She paired it with Dina earrings from Sezane, which added a youthful modernity to the look. The ensemble was finished off with a new hat from one of her favourite milliners Philip Treacy. The wide brimmed hat gave the look an elevated countryside elegance. The royal wore her glossy chestnut hair in long sleek blowout under her hat, and went for a natural glow with a glossy lip, and a lashing of black mascara to accentuate her eyes.

Meanwhile Prince William looked donned his trademark dark suit worn with a blue tie, which matched Prince George’s outfit. Prince Louis attended the service for the first time wearing shorts, knee high socks and a smart navy blue pea coat. Princess Charlotte followed in her mother’s fashionable footsteps rewearing the burgundy coat she donned at the 'Together at Christmas' Carol Service at Westminster Abbey a few days before.

One of the family's best Christmas looks so far we'd say.
