Can you tell the sisters apart?

“The micro french is super chic and timeless,” explains A-list manicurist Julia Diogo, “This means the style works well with all outfits.”

“It definitely came back last year, and people have been experimenting with different colour tips this year incorporating pastel colours,” says Julia. “The muted coloured-tip trend has been all over Instagram,” explains Hello! Fashion’s Orin Carlin, “A playful twist on the classic French manicure. Instead of crisp white tips, we're all about sage, lilac and peach alongside soft pinks and baby blues.”

Currently Liberty's appointed manicurist, Julia’s nail artistry journey began 13 years ago and throughout her career, she has worked with renowned publications and tended to the hands of some of the world’s biggest names including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Julia Fox.

“This style can also elongate the nail, so works well even if you have a shorter nail,” continues Julia.

According to Julia it is easy to replicate Kendall and Kylie’s nail art at home, “The best way to achieve the ‘Micro French’ is to use Biosculpture’s Anthea, a soft pink colour Biosculpture’s French White for the white tips.”
