Dua Lipa was just granted Albanian citizenship – and wore the most striking ensemble to celebrate

Dua Lipa is perfectly used to wowing fans onstage with her flamboyant costumes, but what about when the Potion singer is away from the bright lights of her set? Rest assured, she is 100% versatile. Dua is a woman of many talents, and in addition to captivating audiences with vibrant bedazzled catsuits, she also totally excels in low-key sophistication.

Thanks to the help of long-time stylist Lorenzo Posocco, her latest Instagram post proves that even the most monumental of life events presents the ideal photo opportunity.

Her Future Nostalgia global tour may be drawing to a close, but at least her style game is showing absolutely zero signs of winding down. The 27-year-old is typically pretty partial to a Y2K-inspired look (think micro skirts, vintage Jean Paul Gaultier prints and a splash of studded denim), but her most recent outfit was all about contemporary flair.

Turning yet again to her beloved Bottega Veneta, the star looked incredible as she wore pieces from the Italian luxury label's Resort 2023 collection as she was granted her Albanian citizenship.

Dua, who was born in London, considers Kosovo to be her home, having lived there with her family after it declared independence in 2008. "Thank you President Bajram Begaj and Mayor @erionveliaj for this honour ~ got my Albanian citizenship!!" she wrote in the caption.

Donning a tartan-inspired print dress with ruching details, the Levitating singer looked striking in cyan blue and burgundy alongside a bright white leather woven bag with a statement gold handle and slouchy cream thigh boots.

If only there was a 'Most Stylish Albanian Citizen Award'…

As one might expect, Dua is in excellent company in her appreciation for Bottega's Resort line. None other than Margot Robbie has also been taking her cues from the brand's creative director Matthieu Blazy just last week when she wore a beautifully cut cream tailored suit at the advance London screening for her new film Babylon.
