Lea Thompson shared a wholesome throwback picture from the set of her 1983 movie alongside Tom Cruise called All the Right Moves.
The actress took fans by surprise when she posted a heartwarming picture of the duo dressed to the nines in their prom attire for the part, decades ago.
Lea donned a satin white dress with spaghetti straps, and lace detailing adorning her chest, with a pink satin ribbon as her belt, and a classy updo hairstyle.
Tom looked dapper in a pastel blue tuxedo with a matching bowtie and several fringe bangs.
The star captioned the post: "My Hollywood prom. An actually insane photo @tomcruise #alltherightmoves throwback Monday."
Fans loved the nostalgic picture and shared their support on social media.
One person wrote: "Unbelievable," while a second follower commented: "Soooooo 1983 lol."
A third fan added: "You two are babies here," while another commenter wrote: "That's definitely a nostalgic picture."
Lea recalled what it was really like working with Tom on the hit film over three decades ago.
She revealed to Parade: "[He was] very intense and kind and dedicated and polite, just as he is now."
The movie star also shared how the co-stars' audition went together, and believe it or not, the two both had anxiety during the process.
She explained: "I remember our audition at Fox. I was trying to calm him down because we were both really nervous."
Lea joked: "He was not exactly right for the part because he was supposed to be a potential college football player and he's only, what, 5'7?"
During the shooting of the film, Lea felt highly uncomfortable by the proposed nude scenes, and Tom was there for her in note-worthy way.
She revealed to Closer Weekly: "This is a funny story about how generous he was. They wanted me to show my breasts twice in the script. I didn't even audition because I didn’t want to take my shirt off, but I got the part and was like, 'OK.'"
Lea explained: "Tom managed to talk them out of one of the [nude] scenes, and in the second, he said, 'Well, if she has to be naked, I'll be naked, too.' That's pretty [expletive]! I've always been grateful to him for standing up to the producers."
Decades later, Lea is in awe of Tom's career, and credited his bravery for giving his all during his stunts in action-packed movies.
She expressed to Parade: "I know Tom Cruise is an anomaly and deserves it. Like, who would ride a motorcycle off a mountain [in 'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One]? Not me. I'd just climb the pyramid of bodies."
