Having worked his magic on celebrity creme de la creme including Lily James, Jourdan Dunn and Florence Pugh, what was it about this look that sent fans crazy?

Well, as Alex singled out in his caption, those sultry “finger smudged, rocky-y, kohl-rimmed eyes” sent Instagram’s beauty community wild. His comments section was inundated with praise from makeup and Jodie Comer fans alike including, “Beautiful. Love that black inner water line. Really makes her eyes sparkle. Well done to her!” and “Her eyes are soooooo beautiful I love the way you’ve done them!! ?”

Complimenting her sexy-chic cosmetic agenda, the 29-year-old wore her shoulder-length locks wavy with one side tucked behind the ear, allowing a pair of chunky silver and green earrings to dazzle.

Alongside ‘makeup look of the night’, Jodie took home the top prize “Best Actress” for her role in Prima Facie as Tessa – a criminal defence barrister where “an unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge.”

Proving her sartorial sophistication is as impressive as her multitude of accents in Killing Eve, Comer sported a black glittery high-neck top with high waisted trousers, finished off with a black tuxedo jacket, pointed court shoes and of course, that killer makeup look.
