Awards season is steaming ahead and the hottest night in British film and television has finally arrived.

This year's BAFTA Awards, held at the Royal Festival Hall, was designed to be the organisation's "most ambitious and accessible night yet". Since its first-ever ceremony in 1949, BAFTA has championed quality televisual and cinematic talent and welcomed some of the industry's hottest names.

And the 76th iteration of the prestigious occasion posed no exception. This year, the A-listers were out in full force, clad in some of the most extravagant gowns we've seen so far this awards season and, naturally, glammed to the max. All hail the beauty squad.
