'90s icon Fran Drescher turned 69 on September 30, and we're celebrating by rounding up her hottest looks from the hit sitcom The Nanny up until now.
The star has a refreshing take on aging, as she shared with Verywell Health: "It ain't over until you are. There are always things you can work on and improve — especially regarding your health."
Her secret to living her best life is paying attention to her cortisol levels, as she advised: "Part of aging well is learning how to manage your stress. You can't stew in it. It's important to recognize that stress affects many things relating to your health."
© CBS via Getty ImagesThe star learned through her personal experience that sometimes, the turmoil that you're experiencing on the inside, manifests itself on the outside.
She explained: "I've found that my immune system responds poorly to stress. I have to be mindful and say, 'I can't get this stressed, or I'll get sick.' When I'm noticing stress, I will force myself to lie down and decompress. Or, I'll take a walk in the fresh air and appreciate the trees."

She was also featured in American Hot Wax, Summer of Fear, Ragtime, Cadillac Man, and more.
Fran became a household name thanks to starring in The Nanny, and portraying the comedic role of Fran Fine from 1993 until 1999. The star created the show with her then-husband Peter Marc Jacobson.
© Getty ImagesThe entertainer revealed that the idea behind the sitcom came from her real-life experience of babysitting Twiggy's daughter, Carly Witney Lawson, who was 12 at the time, during her trip to London.
She recalled that Carly kept complaining about how painful her new shoes were as the duo explored the city together.
Fran's advice was to "step on the backs" of the shoes, in order to "break them in," per People.

The star had a lightbulb moment and shared with her former husband over the phone: "[I told him] 'What do you think about a spin on The Sound of Music, only instead of Julie Andrews, I come to the door?' And he thought for only a moment, and he said, 'That's it. That's the show we're going to pitch to CBS,'" and the rest was history.

Last year, the actress appeared in the Spinal Tap II: The End Continues and Marty Supreme.
Aside from her acting career, she became the Screen Actors Guild's President in 2021 and helped spearhead several strikes that took place between 2023 to 2025.
