Jennifer Lopez never misses when making a statement through her sartorial agenda. Last night the Shotgun Wedding actress attended the premiere of AIR with her husband Ben Affleck, schooling us on how to make a fluorescent dress the chicest addition to our summer wardrobe. And the one she donned is perfect for wedding season.
Of course, as her husband both produced the aforementioned movie, and stars as the leading role, it was only right that Lopez brought her own main character energy to the red carpet. Her “favorite color is neon anything” she once said in an Instagram post: is there any better way to steal the limelight (pun intended) than with your personal confidence boosting colour?

The music icon stunned in a long sleeved fitted gown from Antonio Grimaldi's Fall 2021 collection, courtesy of her longtime stylist Rob Zangardi. The dress gave the illusion of a cropped top and an extra long maxi skirt, creating the most flattering silhouette. It boasted a neon yellow fitted skirt with a sculpted shape under the bust area, paired with a long sleeved, halterneck top area adorned with glamorous vertical embellishments.
The bright neon hue epitomised summer, whilst the embellished sleeves added the perfect amount of wedding guest glam. Jewellery was eschewed other than a trio of dazzling studs on each ear from ethical lab-grown diamonds brand Shipra.
She wore her honey-brunette tresses in an elegant updo with two wavy pieces loose to frame the face. And a JLo-typical smokey eye and nude lip combination concluded her glamorous look.

The If You Had My Love singer has a habit of teaching us a lesson on wearing fluorescent colours. In 2021 she wore a highlighter yellow mini dress with cutouts that oozed summer holiday vibes, whilst in 2018 she attended the Second Act premiere in the ultimate luminous pink gown. The queen of chic athleisure ensembles has even added neon gym trainers to her workout wardrobe. Talk about dopamine dressing for every occasion…
