Bruce returns to small screen alongside stellar cast

1 JUNE 2007

Canadian actor Bruce Greenwood, known for his roles in blockbusters Double Jeopardy, Eight Below and Déjà Vu, was busy promoting the production which marks his return to the small screen this week in LA.

Accompanied by his wife Susan Devlin, the actor took to the red carpet at Hollywood's Paramount Theater for a special showing of the pilot for his new TV series - HBO's John From Cincinnati, which debuts on June 10.

A factor likely to have influenced his move back to TV is the show's all-star cast. In the California-based beach drama the avid outdoorsman gets to share the screen with The Hand That Rocks The Cradle actress Rebecca De Mornay, Luke Perry from Beverly Hills 90210 and Sex And The City's Willie Garson.

The LA-based dad-of-one hasn't given up on movies altogether, though. He is currently working with Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger and Jon Voight on National Treasure: Book Of Secrets, which is scheduled for release in December. And when he's not on set with one group of A-list co-workers, he's keeping busy voicing an animated character in American Dog, alongside John Travolta and Woody Harrelson.
