22 JULY 2003
After a round the world jaunt promoting Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, it looks like Cameron Diaz has headed full speed back to the US to spend time with her rumoured new beau, Justin Timberlake.

The 30-year-old actress and the *NSync star, 22, apparently had a string of top secret dates in Miami last week during a break from the singer's stateside tour. But the hush-hush meetings aren't the only indication that the romance is heating up. Just two weeks after he introduced his mother Lynn to his new gal pal in LA, he is said to have flown his beloved mum to Miami by private jet to get to know his gal pal a little better.

And though the couple are keeping mum on the reported romance, the pop star's grandmother Sadie Bomar seems thrilled with Cameron. "Justin likes her because she is more settled and sure of herself than (ex-girlfriend) Britney Spears was," she was quoted as telling Closer magazine earlier this month.

And now, the 69-year-old has volunteered more opinions on the latest developments. "This time you could say it's meet the family time," she is quoted as saying in the Daily Star. "He's having a great tour and I hope Cameron is making him very happy."
