Music legend Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish introduce their new baby boy Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John in this week's HELLO! and relive the moving moment they first laid eyes on their second son. Such is the intensity of love he feels for their firstborn, two-year-old Zachary, Sir Elton, 65, admits that he wondered if he would ever be able to love another child as much. "But I have learned that a parent's capacity for love is endless. When another child is born, our depth of love just grows deeper and wider, so it was very emotional," says the star.

Says filmmaker David, 50: "Throughout our lives we have both loved and been loved, but the love of a parent for his or her child is different to anything else, as all parents will know. You find new depths of love, and experience pure joy." Elijah, who arrived on January 11, was born via the same surrogate who gave birth to Zachary and the couple reveal that their boys also share the same egg donor. Speaking of the incredible bond they share with the surrogate who carried their sons, whose identity has never been revealed, Sir Elton says: "She is a wonderful, kind and loving woman, who we love like a sister.

"We have a very close bond with her and were in constant touch throughout the pregnancy, getting updates, seeing scans and sharing all the little details that make those nine months so exciting. She has given us two amazing gifts and we in turn have a duty of care to her and are fiercely protective of her anonymity. "FOR THE FULL EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW, SEE THIS WEEK'S HELLO!, OUT NOW!
