The polls are closed, your votes are counted – and it seems hellomagazine.com readers have a clear idea of which male model they like to see gracing the world’s catwalks and catalogues. It’s Travis, the long-haired Australian hunk stopping traffic in his pants on those infamous Calvin Klein billboards.

Nearly one-third of votes went to the fit 23-year-old whose semi-naked image is so distracting it has reportedly caused car crashes. “It’s actually quite embarrassing seeing your face plastered all over the place, especially when you’re just in your undies,” he says. “As for drivers, my only advice is keep your eyes on the road.”

But Travis wasn’t alone at the top – French Canadian Gabriel Aubry’s sexy-but-cool looks made 22 per cent of you say, “Oh, la la”, putting him securely in the silver medal spot in our poll. And our readers definitely had a taste for international flavour, with sexy blue-eyed Swede Alex Lundqvist coming in a close third with nearly one-fifth of the votes.

Male models only get better with age it seems, as 30-year-old Alex led a pack of fellow over-30s, supermodels Mark Vanderloo, Tyson Beckford and Marcus Schenkenberg, who rounded off the top six.

The sculpted abs of Liz Jagger’s on-off boyfriend Damien Van Zyl and catwalk king Robert Perovich caught the attention of about three per cent of voters, while Argentinian star Ivan de Pineda and barely-20 Matthew Avedon, grandson of photographer Richard, came in last, with just over one per cent of your votes.
