With Britain currently in the grips of a heatwave, music fans who travelled the Isle of Wight for this year's music festival have been enjoying a mercifully mud-free weekend. And no one was enjoying the sunshine more than self-styled rock chick Kate Moss, who went along to see her old friends Primal Scream strut their stuff at the annual bash.
The 32-year-old was cheered by a huge crowd of music–lovers when she took to the stage, complete with a gold-embroidered velvet cloak, to introduce the band. The group then performed a series of tunes from their new album Riot City Blues, before swapping the stage for a night of fun with their glamorous friends.
Frontman Bobby Gillespie was apparently keen to add a little hair-raising excitement into the mix, as he and Kate were later spotted enjoying the rides in a nearby amusement park. Having travelled to the island aboard Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon's yacht, one might expect Kate would have preferred to keep both feet on firm land, but the catwalk queen was obviously game for some high-speed thrills.
