Fans wax lyrical about style icon Kate Moss

13 FEBRUARY 2007

Brit supermodel Kate Moss might jet-set around the world for her modelling commitments but there's one place the Croydon-born beauty won't be budging from. She is the latest celebrity to take up residence at London's Madame Tussauds who have created a waxwork in her honour.

A spokesman for the famous museum said they created it after guests repeatedly asked for Kate to be among the waxy luminaries. "We have a poll of guests every month and she is always in the top five of figures they would like to see here," he said. And it seems the 33-year-old covergirl, who is said to be very pleased with the likeness, was only too happy to help out - even lending one of her favourite black vintages dresses to inspire the designers.

The end result has the photogenic mum-of-one reclining for a photo shoot on a couch in a Manhattan style loft apartment setting. Visitors will be able to pose next to her and be photographed with the supermodel to produce a cover of a fictional glossy magazine called Iconic.
