Hollywood golden girl Julia Roberts is expecting twins, confirmed her publicist this week. The Oscar-winning actress will give birth to two bundles of joy early next year she revealed.
Although twins run in the actress' family, insiders say that the Pretty Woman star conceived after a course of in vitro fertilisation, which can often result in multiple births.
Tinseltown had been abuzz with rumours that Julia was to become a mum after she was photographed, apparently sporting a bump, on a beach in Italy. She is also said to have quit smoking and taken up yoga in recent weeks.
The performer has been trying to start a family since she and her husband, cameraman Danny Moder, got married in 2002. After she was seen leaving a fertility clinic in Manhattan later that year, Julia said she had no control over when she would conceive. "I think children fall into the category of the will of heaven, and I don't really have a timetable for that," said the actress. |
