With excitement mounting over the planned nuptials of Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria and basketball star Tony Parker, a newly-engaged Eva couldn't hide her happiness as she lunched in Hollywood with pal Jamie Foxx.

The 31-year-old star admits that her boyfriend's candlelit proposal was an emotional moment. "I cried my eyes out," she says. "I was mostly touched by how nervous he was. I was like, 'You know I'm going to say yes. Why are you so nervous?' But I guess every man gets nervous at that point."

Tony presented the glamorous actress with a beautiful five-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, set with an impressive 247 accenting diamonds, and Eva was quick to share the happy news with her Wisteria Lane co-stars. "Marcia and Felicity and I are really, really close. Telling them was really exciting!"

The couple are said to be planning to wed in Tony's native France next July. Tony, 24, who asked her parent's permission before proposing, says that he wanted to make sure everything was perfect. "I'm a traditional guy. I knew it was right. We've been talking for months about it, and I just knew. It was time."
