The Aussie star, pictured in character as the British outlaw on location in West Wales this week, has already shared a number of memorable experiences with Cate during filming. "So far we have ridden horses together, seen off bad guys, got naked - partially - wallowed chin deep in mud, danced by firelight, attended a funeral and kissed," he reveals

As far as making a film goes, Russell Crowe says lensing Robin Hood opposite fellow Aussie Cate Blanchett has been a memorable experience.
"So far we have ridden horses together, seen off bad guys, got naked - partially - wallowed chin deep in mud, danced by firelight, attended a funeral and kissed. What can I say? It's an interesting gig," reveals the screen hunk.
Forty-five-year-old Russell, who was spotted wading through the sea on the film's West Wales beach set this week, plays the title role in the movie. Cate meanwhile, portrays his love interest Maid Marion – the role in which Sienna Miller was originally cast.
Last week a helicopter captured the action on film as Russell and an army of horseback riders recorded battle scenes on Pembrokeshire's Freshwater West Beach.
It was originally thought Russell would fly in by helicopter daily from a relative's mansion in Windsor, but he's actually camping out in a caravan close to the movie location.
