Originally hailing from Windsor, Ali Bastian is the epitome of an English rose. Having made her first forays into TV with quintessentially English dramas such as Jane Eyre and A Touch Of Frost, she went on to establish herself as a true soap siren in the Chester-based show Hollyoaks. As the spoilt, naïve and careless Becca Hayton, she splits her time between teacher training and prolonged bouts of gossiping about her neighbours in the the fictional borough.
