British beauty Elizabeth Hurley never fails to add sparkle to fundraisers, and her appearance at this week's Very Hot Pink Party breast cancer event was no exception. The Estee Lauder model was the epitome of glamour in a sequin-encrusted sugar pink number when she joined fellow celebs including Anastacia at this year's glitzy bash in New York.
Liz, whose maternal grandmother died of breast cancer, is a committed campaigner against the disease and works closely with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation established by Estee Lauder senior corporate vice president Evelyn Lauder.
Also stepping out in the foundation's signature hue on the night was Anastacia, who had opted for a figure-hugging cocktail number in deep fuchsia. The I'm Outta Love singer had her own brush with the illness in 2003, leading her to establish her own fund.
Meanwhile Elizabeth, who is currently dating Indian-born millionaire Arun Nayar, has a few more awareness-raising ideas of her own in mind. "I want to do a huge benefit next year in Agra at the Taj Mahal, where we turn the Taj pink for Breast Cancer Awareness," says the model, who's also planning to add a specially designed pink bikini to the range offered by her recently launched swimwear company.
